Tablescape Ideas || Easter

Easter is coming and there is no better way to celebrate this special holiday than with a beautiful meal set in a beautiful table. There is no need to bring out eggs and bunnies to create a special Easter and springy look, although they do add a touch of fun. Beautiful flowers coordinated with glasses, plates or linens goes a long way, as well as being creative with the vessels you use. Sometimes two large and imposing jars filled with dramatic flowers will surely make a statement, other times you might choose a collection of smaller vases to scatter around the table. Mixing and matching plates and napkins can be an art in itself. I also love, just adding little decorative figurines that I may have around the house. To get your inspiration juices flowing here are some tablescapes I created for past gatherings as well as some by the ultimate hostess Tory Burch.

In the first photo I just used a very simple and classic theme- blue and white! From the plates, to the napkins to the vases. It was an easy and straight forward look to put together.

Below, I set a fancier table with my beautiful Julia B. handmade linens and I did bring out my nice silver (if not now when, right?!)

I always bring out my swans every once in a while. They really dress up the table and are unexpected!

I love the contrast of the deep purple glasses and flowers with the light blue tablecloth in this table designed by Tory Burch. Perfection!

Florals make everyone happyl! I love how these small flower arrangements echo the small floral pattern on the tablecloth. I love how Tory mixed in some of her figurines to set a whimsical scene. See?! I’m not the only one!

And of course two grand jars with a dramatic flower arrangement will also create that WOW factor as guests come in the dining room.

Whatever your style may be creativity is the only thing you really need. Use what you have in different ways to make it all seem fresh. You would be surprised by what can go together. Now to start thinking about the menu, the other important piece of the puzzle. Do you have special recipes you like to do for Easter? If you do, please share them with me. And I can compile them and write a post sharing your favorites!

And if you are inspired by these tablesettings here are some items so you too can get the look-
