Friday Links || Valentine's Edition
I like that Valentine's is yet another opportunity to give and share love with those around you with sweet words, chocolate, a flower, a simple gesture.....It's a day to especially embrace your loved ones and communicate your love in some creative ways, maybe? You can set a pretty table or come up with fun DIY treats to do with your little ones. Here are a few Valentine's day DIY ideas I thought were adorable and so original. This first one by The House that Lars Built is so fun. (Oh, I also predict that cherries will be the the new pineapple). You can see the tutorial here.
Here is another creative Valentine's Day DIY by the same blogger with printables so you can make your own. Clever right?
Speaking about 'clever' reading through one of my favorite blogs Pretty Pink Tulips, I loved this post where Elizabeth shares different ideas for Valentine's Day gifts you can create with personalized tags from Haute Papier (or you can make your own!). Below are just a couple, visit Pretty Pink Tulips for more.
Valentine's is also an excuse to play around in the kitchen with your kids and make pretty looking treats (I'm sure they taste good too!)- like this Valentine's day bark.
Or these Valentine's day chocolatey pretzels.
We might try these last ones. They are so easy and maybe we can come up with our own spin on them. Hmmmm..... View Valentine's as an opportunity to be adventuresome.
