Valentine's Day Gift Ideas

A few Valentine's Day ideas for your consideration. This year I'm hand making my Valentine's day cards as opposed to paying a small fortune for each one (they have gotten so expensive!).  I took a class with my daughter at Paper Source (I highly recommend the experience!) and have learned a few tricks I want to put into practice.  I will share some with you via instagram.  Ok, here are my gift ideas-

I'm intrigued by this pink body polish. What a treat to take a bath and indulge in this coconut and rose exfoliating treatment (extra points for that pretty packaging that would look great by the bathtub).  I know I have blogged about this hand vase a dear friend gave me for my birthday before but I just love it so much and wish all my good friends had one too (that means you!). I have some wild tulips in it now and they look out of this world in there. Flowery earrings for the girl who is sweet and likes to make a statement. A friend introduced me to this Pat McGrath lipstick and to say I'm obsessed with it is an understatement!  Not only is the packaging with the black and gold lips one of the coolest designs I have seen but the modern matte finish is fabulous. Because it's the truth- 'All you need is LOVE'. I love this sweater's message and color combination. You can never have too many guest towels.  This pink hearts and navy set is so adorable and perfect for that sweet man in your life. It comes with the tie, cutest socks and a monogrammed handkerchief.  For your bestie that appreciates good design and likes to cook these gold measuring set  are perfect (accompany it with a bottle of really good vanilla extract from Madagascar. Maybe she will bake some brownies for you to thank you. Just sayin').

And remember a hand made card with a heart felt message of love, respect and gratitude is just as good or even better than any of these gifts.
