Lighting || Michelle James NYC

Happy Friday!  Whoa, what a hectic week in a very good way.  I feel like it was crazy but so productive.  I adore lighting.  It is one of my most favorite things to admire.  If you remember I built the Lindsey Adelman DIY design, which I'm in love with, just to have one of her designs in my home seeing as though none of her pieces are within my budget.  Sometime ago I also came across this fabulous lighting designer in New York called Michelle James.  Her designs are the perfect balance of modern and vintage.  She handcrafts her pieces from vintage glass globes which she finds by scouring ebay and flea markets and combines them with more modern brass structures.  Her pieces are truly one of a kind, no two are the same.  Spectacular right?  Here are more photos.

You can see her more of these beautiful lighting jewels here.  A few links for you today.

||  Into mangoes?  Please try this tartlette recipe here from Heart of Gold.  I may attempt it this weekend.  I have made a few of Alison's recipes and they have always been a success.  My husband especially loves the lemon, olive oil cake.

|| Really loving this skirt and these sandals. (Not together, but I know you gathered that).

||  I'm in love with these flower photographs that Jennifer from The Pink Pagoda highlighted.

||  And Kate Spade Saturday has a 25% discount thru the weekend with code S14FFUS.  You can get the cute top I blogged about yesterday for less!

Have wonderful weekend!
