Black and white Desk inspiration

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. The weather here was perfection- sunny but cool. And my mother's day was perfection as well. I was able to sleep in until 7:30 a.m. (whaaat??!!) and was awakened by the sweetest of girl kisses and a delicious breakfast that included toast with blueberry happy faces. Life doesn't get better than that! But it does! Later on we picked roses from the garden and ate this cake for dessert (which I keep telling you is a MUST). So, this morning I'm inspired by desk accessories and I wanted to start off the week with some black and white desk inspiration. If you missed my last desk accesories post see it here.

It all started with the above desk photo from Domaine's site. If you haven't heard about Domaine it is "a resource for aesthetic-minded creatively intelligent design lovers looking for home decor inspiration and ideas." I couldn't have said it better myself. If you are into interior decor you will love it- its fresh and inspiring. The photo is by a desk styled by House of Honey. She has an incredible portfolio. She always adds a touch of the unexpected, a touch of whimsy that makes her rooms so fun. She also has one of the best 1st Dibs offerings. I really want everything!

Anyhoot! I rounded up some black and white (with a touch gold, of course!) accessories to dress up your desk. For me, the best part was finding these aaaahhhhmazing busts at Restoration Hardware. The prices are pretty good and they are fine replicas. The hands dish is also killing, as well as the pyramid pencil sharpener. And I actually have the horn pencil holder and I adore it. It looks so rich on my desk! Its really FAB-U-LOSO.
