Vintage Seating

As you remember I am #obsessed with the Alky chair (I want two!) so I keep browsing different sites to see if any new options with better pricing become available. As I was doing this I realized I have not shared with you some of my favorite sites for browsing vintage furniture. In my opinion, vintage furniture adds character and interest to any room. And I especially love mixing interesting vintage pieces with modern furniture (like the photo above!).

Viyet is a site I browse consistently to see if I find any good seating treasures. My mom was the one who introduced me to this site a few years back. I have mentioned before that she loves sending me ideas and forwarding me emails with sites she discovers and thinks my readers will like. OMG these barrel chairs are everything! So sculptural and unique. These would be amazing in a minimalistic type ambiance flanking a large modern work of art.

No Alky chair here, but I did find some on 1st Dibs. Another favorite! These are beautiful, so very tempting. The thing is that I don't need them, but it won't stop me from window shopping right?
