A Table to Celebrate Love and Friendship

Thank goodness Valentine’s day is on the horizon making a long and dreary January not so bad. Happy New Year by the way! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday together with your loved ones if Omicrom permitted it.

I’m glad the holiday to celebrate love and friendship is coming soon. I need the excitement. Hosting something on Valentine’s is something I look forward to- be it just some girlfriends for lunch or a couples dinner. Below are some pretty additions to set a lovely table to inspire you to get festive.

Champagne will always be my drink of choice for this occasion (well, for almost all occasions!) I love drinking it from these coupes and they come in all sorts of pretty colors. You will need cute some cocktail napkins to go with that- these are similar to mine, love these with pink hearts, and these monogrammed ones are perfect for Valentine’s or anytime really!

Linens are the fun part. There so many options out there so enjoy the hunt to find the perfect mix that speaks to you. Here are a few favorite pieces I have bookmarked lately- these linen placemats are just perfect. These two blockprint tablecloths are festive and you can use them during spring and summer for alfresco gatherings as well- this pink and mint green option or this burgundy and pink one. If you want a simpler background like my white placemats these are perfect (and inexpensive). Also, I really love these. With the understated white below you can always add some fun napkins to make a statement- like these and these pink floral ones (A set of 4 is under $20!).

Top it off with a pretty faux floral napkin ring like this one or these.

Need a similar swan ? And don’t forget the pretty colored candles! pink, cool neon ombre, all sorts of colors. (Etsy has so many great finds! I just love how creative that community is)

My go to gold flatware and I think these placecards are ideal to finish off your table. Voila! You are ready to party.

The star of the day? Or shall I say the heart of the day? My decadent flourless chocolate cake baked in a heart shaped springform pan topped with yummy berries.
