Home and Interiors || Rectangular Skirted Tables

I was looking through old pins trying to find some skirted table inspiration and fell in love all over again with these images I will share with you below. The one above is a small shared bedside table I designed for my daughter’s room a few years back. I love the the ribbon design on it. But, I especially love the higher rectangular skirted tables in a hallway or entry. They are a great way to add drama and richness to a space. Here are a few favorites-

This is by designer Christopher Nutter from a 2015 DC Designer Showcase with hand-painted Chinoiserie walls. I love the white skirt with blue ribbon and matching lamps and pendant. WOW!

This color combination is powerful. I love the red frames with the blue and white skirt designed by Tobi Fairley. This sure packs a punch.

This more serene entry hall is elegant yet relaxed designed by Heather Roberts in the 2015 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Home for the Holidays Showhouse.

I love the relaxed and worldly look of Carolina Irving’s casually chic Paris apartment. Forget ironing!

And this last skirted table adds warmth to the room. I love the choice of fabric combined with the greek key ribbon. The urns with ferns are just the cherry on top.

Are you as obsessed as I am? I found a couple of etsy shops you can order your very own skirt for your table- one is Anna’s Home Decor Store and the other is Kirtam Custom Curtains. And here are some other options for you as well that come with a table. Otherwise you can have a local carpenter make you a simple table and you can splurge on a custom skirt. It is always a good idea to add shelving so you can use it as storage as well.
