DIY || Making Greeting Cards from your Kid's Artwork
My daughter is an artist. She loves to paint and draw. And as a result I have sooooooooo much beautiful artwork. She is VERY prolific. I just don't know what to do with it all. I wish I could frame everything, but its just not possible (definitely not enough wall space). So, I'm always on the lookout for ideas to showcase her work in other creative ways. So I was thrilled to find this fabulous DIY- make greeting cards out of artwork. This solution is ideal. I used Moo.com- they have the capability to print different designs within the same pack. Fabulous! and exactly what I needed! It's was so easy too. First, you scan all the drawings
you want to include and then you upload them to Moo.com. Their printing turnaround is pretty quick and I was very pleased with the quality of the cards. Here is a sampling of the cards we made (the fifth card is a drawing she made of our mailman!)-
I made several sets of cards because I think they would make ideal presents for Little Miss A's grandparents this Christmas. And how will I wrap these cuties? I think the Container store lacquered boxes will the be the perfect.
I hope this helped some of you mom's out there....plus you really kill a couple of birds with one stone- you showcase your kids' work and you surprise grandparents with a gift you know they will treasure. Do you have other good ideas for kid artwork I should know about?
